Quick to say the least!

Ok readers! This is why I am here! The time has finally come for me to be able to go out and ADVENTURE! in T-30 minutes i get on an S-bahn and then a Bus then a Plane and i will be off to the great city of LONDON!!! If you have ever traveled with me then you know that right about now i am set in Panic mode because I am worried about not making my flight! So in tern I have decided to write this little blog and hope that it occupies my mind away from my little troubles! This weekend Natalie took me to a HUGE cosmetology convention! (The biggest in the world) and it was amazing!!! When I was there I saw everything from new nail styles to tanning, hair and make-up. For me it was absolutely amazing to the Make-up! I actually considered "wow I wonder if this would be something I would be good at!" So at this point in time... I guess I am considering new things with my new adventures! When i was there I got my hair curled and a facial for free! And then bought 5 nail polishes for about 10euros. Also a cute coat that is warm and comfy! all i was thinking was "Thank god I didn't bring more money!" Anyways! I guess i have to go now. so this truly was QUICK!!! All I have to say is that I am sooo excited and while i am in London if I have the time! i will try to Post a new blog about whats been going on! :)

Excitement is an understatement!

OK so to most of my friends and family they are already aware of this news! But that’s no fair for me not to tell you my super awesome great news! This week I was scheduled to get my Visa and to confirm that I would be staying here in Germany for the full amount of time that I desire. I have been worried about this day (Tuesday) for probably about 3 weeks! Why you ask? Well to get your Visa you have to be able to speak German!... WELL after me being here for 2 and a half months I can converse with the kids but I was worried that it would not be enough. Turns out though! It was! On Monday I want to my school and took an oral and written test and then took the results to the Consulate and a nice man was more then happy to give me my Visa! So on my Blog I would just like to THANK YOU VHS and VISA DUDE!!!!

Now on to more AWESOME news!!! Next week if you haven’t heard I have plans to venture out to London for about 4 days! So I would love to see some comments, Facebooks, or emails about what pictures you want to see, where I should visit, and most importantly, if you have any great restaurants I should visit! My Plans: I leave Tuesday at about 12 and get to London around 3. Drop my stuff off at the Hostel that I am staying in and go out for the night! I will have Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday all to myself and to do whatever I please! Saturday I leave and come home around 3 or 4. SOOO please leave me a comment or something with some suggestions!

Other news… well I really don’t have any! But on Saturday Natalie is taking me to a cosmetology convention where a bunch of cosmetics are on sale for WICKED cheep! So I am super excited I am thinking about buying a purse and some nail polish and maybe some make-up… but we will see! :)

For now… Enough has been said! Most defiantly more to come! I will try to write about my weekend but if I do not then expect something HUGE to come after London! But in realality… something HUGE will be coming after London because I am sure after staying in a Hostel for the first time! And sleeping in a room with guys for the first time there is bound to be at least one good story in there!!! ;) HAHA well for now I leave for my nice comfortable bed!

A day out as an Au Pair! #aupiar life

      Sunday I hung out with my friend Megan. We decided that we would go to the little festival in my village. Well really it was like a beer tent like Oktoberfest and then some little tents and vendors. (Kind of like a Bates Nut Farm craft fair) Then also the Brewery had an open house and so we went in to see how the beer was made and packaged! It was really cool to see this entire thing happening! The brewery re-bottles or re-uses the bottles and so we saw the whole process! After we left the area of seeing the packaging process we decided that we needed to buy a beer to see what it tasted like! Turns out it was pretty good! OH YAH and while we were looking at all the little vendors we stopped at a schnapps tent and had a little tasting! Now for those of you who do not know what this is… (Apparently it’s a European thing) after you have a big meal or in between courses you are supposed to have a shot to clear your stomach. Also if you have a tummy ache then you just drink a little and BOOM all better! Well after a couple of little shots of that Megan and I were like… OK enough! For the first time and not the last I have bought alcohol! I bought some of the schnapps! It was so yummy and I really liked it! Then when we left and we were going into town Megan decided to go home and for me I was going to have a great night relaxing! When I was headed back to the train there is construction going on my train line so the whole schedule is all messed up! So I ended up waiting n the cold to get on the train that I needed for like half an hour! But everything else was really great about my weekend! Here are some pictures from my day out with Megan! Hello so i just thought i would give an update on my life during the past week! Last week i started school! actually i am really enjoying it! there is one other american Au pair in the class and then also there is an Au Pair from finland in my class! I have now realized a couple weeks back that i am very young or i could put in in the form of i am the youngest Au Pair that i have met so far! But there is still time! Anyways i really am liking class I feel like i am learning! i feel like i am picking it up. even though maybe a little slow i am really starting to get it! German is a really hard language though! who would have thought! HUH? anyways that was my main big event from last week! On Wednesday i went to Oktoberfest! Friday i went to a friends and we watched a terrible movie "the Hours" dont watch it. Then on Saturday my family took me to a Castle! we spent the day there and  posted pictures in my last post! Sunday i went to town and finished a book and that made me incredibly happy! this was my past week in a nut shell! quick and short! something more fun to come soon i am sure!

Castle time! :) #AuPair life!

Over the weekend I went with my family to King Leopald the 2nd (I think that's his name.) But anyways This guy was a Braveren King and he is best know for building 3 castles and spent all of the peoples money. So no one really liked him! Anyways he is the guy that made the original Walt Disney Cinderella Castle. But that was not the one we went to. We went to one and it was just a single person castle! actually it was big! but still they insisted that he was the only person that lived there! He didn't really like people and never really had visitors to his house. He was NEVER married and had no children! I think this man even though a king had a sad life! they say that his brother was clinically insane and even though never properly tested some think that he was slightly crazy himself! at the end of his life he committed suicide. i think that was kind of sad! he passed at the age of 40 and took his doctor with him on his way out! this was a crazy story! while walking through his home though it was insane! it was beautiful and for my i think my favorite room was the mirror room! he made a room and filled it with mirrors. the tour guide said that he made it so that he could live his life though fantasy! Plus the way he lived his days was he would get up at 5pm and go to sleep at 8am. so cant you just imagine a room full of candles and mirrors! sounds like a fantasy to me! :D

 The people are bring washed with fish. and the fish are squirting water out of there mouths... i thought it was an interesting choice of a fountain creation.

New. Ya hoo! (feel the excitement) #au pair life

Here I am sitting at my computer thinking about what I could even write about this week... and this is what I have come up with.... Yup there was absolutely nothing! As of today I have started school. Yah that was exciting! Then last week on Friday I went to Oktoberfest with 2 girls they were both younger then me... and i mean by a lot they were both about 16 but they were absolutely awesome! and I made it into a tent finally! That was sooo cool! Everybody was dancing on the tables and singing totally cool! we never found a table to sit at but just watching everyone was fun!really I just liked to be able to hang out with girls that were young and fun! and I can totally see myself hanging out with them again! Once we left Oktoberfest we went to one of the girls houses and had just so quality girl talk and i think i really missed having that with my friends so that was really great for me! then on both saturday and sunday i went to Munich and read! which was awesome! And on sunday while i was waiting in line to order food this hot guy was standing behind me! when he stared talking to his friend i realize that he was American! totally out of my norm! I started a conversation with him! he was super cool and great to talk to! He was from New York but studying abroad in Barsolona! He and his 3 other friends where all there for the weekend for oktoberfest! he said "yah i have been here for maybe 36 hours and i remember at the most 2 of them until 1 hour ago when i woke up... and i am so hung over its just bad!" I am serious! he made my day! when i told him he sad well i am glad that i can make a girl happy. no matter what pain i am going though! :) yup. and did i mention how hot he was!?! hah my dad said i am guy crazy... oh well! ;) yup that was my weekend! this was short. sorry! more is soon to come! jsut remember stay patient and remember! Adventure is Out There!!!
